Ice cold winter days like today have an ambiguous effect on me. On the one hand, I start dreaming of warmer, sunny spring days with colourful blooms. On the other hand, I keep thinking of Scandinavia, the cold climate and the sophisticated designs and interiors. So, I’ve spent the evening browsing through some of my favorite Scandinavian interiors magazines and I got hooked on this simple Scandinavian beauty in Danish Bolig Magasinet.

Staying in is my big plan this weekend. My body says rest and chilling, this little baby is too comfy. And my new sofa says something like ‘I am so comfy and look at your new cute pillow, snuggle up and stay here’. Well, after all it seems that even lazy weekends have a good side. After a very busy week (which was meant to be lazy week) organising around the house I am looking forward to beautiful long weekend with my hubby. I need a quiet, relaxed, and balanced weekend with lots of tea, coziness at home with a warm blanket and neutral hues to zoom out the fast-paced week and dive into a calm and laid-back weekend. Isn’t that sheer happiness? To visualize my feeling, I prepared this little inspiration for you to enjoy. It’s Friday. I’m in Love.

Happy Friday, friends! Last couple weekends I have been able to relax, pamper myself and finish couple things of my list before the little bub arrives. This weekend is going to be pretty calm too. I picked up a new planner yesterday and quickly started filling it up last night with important dates for work and blog scheduling. It’s amazing what a little thing like a new planner can do for your mood! Does that happen to you, too?

In the middle of the winter, I am craving for warmth, cosiness, the relaxing sound of crackling fire, a mug of hot chocolate…all this in mind made me think of homey fireplaces.
