Perched over dramatic boulders with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range, this double-level apartment in Clifton, Cape Town, South African has been stripped and reconfigured to create the ultimate luxury pad. Cocktail bar, wine cellar, cinema room, gym, bespoke detailing, extensive art collection and an infinity pool to match the view … check! Another amazing project that could only be by Antoni Associates, who blow me away with their residential architecture every time.
The Levin Residence in Marana, Arizona has been designed by Ibarra Rosano Design Architects.
Description from Ibarra Rosano Design Architects
Three simple rectangular volumes hover above the desert floor, oriented to harness the sun, frame the views and capture the breezes. In much the same way a photographer crops an image, the house organizes the landscapes into intelligible formats, which focus and celebrate the environment. The plan organization is based on simplicity, functionality and “collapsibility”, enabling the house to be operated as a smaller home when the guests are away.
It’s always a delight to share one of Greg Natale‘s stunning projects here. I am a big fan of his interiors and when I came across Perikic House, Sydney I just couldn’t resist had to share it straight away. Interior designer Greg Natale takes this design to another level with his bold pattern clashes, papered ceilings and bathroom tiling. A glam house, ammmmazing house! His project is the elevation of everyday living to something glamorous, something just a little more special, something with just a touch of the unexpected.
