Friday. Im in Love
Currently Crushing: Maroon
When seeking a base accent color for a living room, maroon is an excellent choice when decorating. This pleasant shade of rich red is warm, comfortable and inviting, and it can be successfully used in a space of any size. Maroon can create a welcoming, well-decorated atmosphere, it is also a great fashion statment for these winter months.
Things we love: Grey Days
Architecture | Villa Indigo
I think I found my dream home and I am not leaving this place. . .at least virtually. Currently available for rent, the elegant Villa Indigo was envisioned by Spanish studio Josep Camps and Olga Felip and is located in Caldes de Malavella, a municipality in Catalonia, Spain.
Wooden panels hide the residence on one side, ensuring a high amount of privacy. The opposite facade consists almost entirely of glass, visually connecting the rooms with the swimming pool and vast inner courtyard. The architects managed to stylishly combine glass and wood, resulting in airy and welcoming interiors throughout.

Currently Crushing: Scandinavian Interiors
Ice cold winter days like today have an ambiguous effect on me. On the one hand, I start dreaming of warmer, sunny spring days with colourful blooms. On the other hand, I keep thinking of Scandinavia, the cold climate and the sophisticated designs and interiors. So, I’ve spent the evening browsing through some of my favorite Scandinavian interiors magazines and I got hooked on this simple Scandinavian beauty in Danish Bolig Magasinet.
interiors: Lombard & Jack
Lombard & Jack is the Melbourne-based interior design firm of Kath Lombard and Jackie Johnston that was established in only 2011. They’ve got some amazing projects under their belt already – each one with a dash of drama, a dab of glam, and a dollop of relaxed modernism. My favorite interiors of theirs has to be The Capitol Apartments, South Yarra which was done in collobration with company I work for Bates Smart.
architecture: de wet 34, bantry bay, cape town
Ok. here I go again with beautiful residential architecture by SAOTA – Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects & OKHA Interiors. Views that go on forever anchored by the raw textures of concrete, rock and timber. Dramatic volumes defining open plan living areas. Bespoke furniture and high end finishes. A pool terrace that taunts the view and a master bedroom suite that rivals any 5 star resort. Sensual and sensational, definitely a statement home. You’ll find me on the terrace indulging in the view and some sunshine.
