Megan Hess is an amazing Australian fashion illustrator. I adore her style. Think Tiffany & Co, Audrey Hepburn, vintage Hollywood glamour and New York Art Deco rolled into one. So dreamy…. I think I would like to live in one of her illustrations. Hess has created art for many renown brands to feature in their campaigns including Vogue, Tiffany & Co, Sex in the City’s author Candace Bushnell has featured her illustrations on her book covers, Bloomingdale’s, Italian Vogue, Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Rolex, Bergdorf Goodman to name just a few.

You know I love fashion illustrations and as much as I’ve been trying to ‘boy up’ my house a bit, I find myself always drawn to girly art. Discovering the works of Elisa Mazzone has not helped the situation…Artist, designer, and stylist Elisa Mazzone has a unique flair for creating all that is feminine, dreamy, and nothing short of beautiful.

Animals are prone to say humorous things or are they? Alex Lewis certainly would like us to think that they do. The London based designer and illustrator whose work is inspired by pop art, video games, comics and gadgets among many other things has created a series entitled ‘Toy Stories’ where he staged plastic figurines of animals and added short dialogs where he wanted to display to us that animals do in fact say humorous things. The results are certainly very visual, amusing and entertaining.
Let’s have a glance at his ‘Toy Series’ below or on the authors website. My personal favourite are the cats on facebook. Very entertaining indeed.
