Project: Apartment on Rue de Rivoli | Location: Paris, FRANCE | Architects & Interiors: sabelle Stanislas and SO-AN
This is an apartment on Rue de Rivoli in Paris and I would be pleased to move in immediately. Designed by sabelle Stanislas and SO-AN is an architecture & interior design studio with a strong identity. This signature design is successfully apparent in the transformation of an XVIIIth century Louvre facing building, from an office space, into a glamorous art loving residence.

I was excited to see Ashley Stark’s new apartment in Elle Decor so please feast your eyes on this .
What do you think of her style? For me, it’s that mix of periods and textures, but neutral, glam and totally sophisticated. Love the colors, the “new meet the old” furniture, and that dressing room is just perfect! Ashley Stark, creative director of Stark, is one lucky lady full of talent!
I suppose when you are heiress to a high-end carpet empire you can afford to have two living rooms in Manhattan.
All I know is that there are too many pieces in this room that I love!
‘I wanted the place to have an easy glamour about it, more Paris in the 1970s than the ’40s,” says Astier (former stylist to Pearl Jam and the Spice Girls), “so that it was comfortable to hang out in as a family and chic enough to entertain in.”

Project: Jackie Astier’s Apartment | Decorator: Madeleine Castaing| Location: New York
Stylist and editor Jackie Astier brings her rock-and-roll spirit and a passion for high style to her family’s Upper East Side apartment. Clearly Jackie Astier isn’t just a stylist to celebrities but a fabulous interior decorator as well. She even spotted many of the stunning pieces in her home on eBay, which gives her major credit in my book. This design atheistic is everything I could dream of with seriously chic style but an all around comfortable vibe.

Wouldn’t you agree that this spacious residence gives off an instant ‘pick me up’ mood? This modern apartment, the Emmental Stairs, was designed for young family and it has such a lively, bright and playful ambiance which automatically makes you smile.
The vibrant white apartment was designed by Eva Katona & Peter Szigeti. It is obvious that the residents love unique furniture which helps them utilize clean white design to serve as the perfect backdrop. The fashionable dining chairs, distinctive fixtures and fun decorative touches featured in these photos showcase this vibrant apartment as one of a kind.
The striking staircase, which automatically catches your attention, were visualised and created by Biljana Jovanovic. The stairs give the room an airy feel to is and it certainly creates a boundary between the living and dining area. The playful holes in the staircase allow the parents to keep an eye on their children no matter what side of the room they are on which is very practical.
The Emmental Refurbished Apartment is a energetic as it is captivating – no one would have issues getting comfortable in this home.
Project: 70’s apartment renovation| Architects: Ramisa Projects and Fun Location: Spain
Interior designers Isabel and Ramiro of the Spanish design studio Ramisa Projects and Fun transformed a 1970s apartment into a timeless interior. Black, white and wood: Classy!
So many of my friends are either pregnant or just had a baby – and I have been promising one friend a nursery post. I don’t have any children of my own, but someday I will and I’d love to design a nursery just like these one’s. Therefore, I’ve rounded up several great inspiration photos for boys & girls. Do you have a baby or toddler, or maybe you’re a mommy-to-be? What color scheme or theme have you gone with for your child’s room?
