Happy Friday, friends! Last couple weekends I have been able to relax, pamper myself and finish couple things of my list before the little bub arrives. This weekend is going to be pretty calm too. I picked up a new planner yesterday and quickly started filling it up last night with important dates for work and blog scheduling. It’s amazing what a little thing like a new planner can do for your mood! Does that happen to you, too?
Enjoy your weekend
In the middle of the winter, I am craving for warmth, cosiness, the relaxing sound of crackling fire, a mug of hot chocolate…all this in mind made me think of homey fireplaces. I never had a fireplace in my home, but would I love it! Hence, I took a little blog journey and went on a search for five happy and inspiring fireplaces and I think I found them. I love each and every one. Do you have a favorite?
Slowly winter is approaching on this side of the world. . . (even to I am a summer person myself) I wouldnt mind escaping here for a while. This amazing holiday home in Aspen would be perfect to spend the weekend in belonging to Aerin Lauder. The granddaughter of Estée Lauder and founder of her own lifestyle brand on beauty, basics it’s no surprise that every room has a beautiful understated style about it … and the location is just gorgeous!
Hugs to each of you!

It is Spring here in Australia, so we are warming up for summer! But as alot of my followers all around the world are getting ready for chilly weather. I wanted to share some ideas how you can come home and feel like you are walking into a big, warm hug. There’s a few things that help me get that feeling… it usually includes a little sheepskin, a soft throw blanket, some sweet, clove scented candles and a touch of ORANGE.
Okay I know, orange is hands down the most obvious choice for autumn but maybe that’s because it just works so perfectly, specially in a slightly muted, earthy tone or how about in a rich cognac leather or even a slight shimmer? Really, it works well all year round to make your place fell cozy and warm, but specially in the autumn.
