It is coming up to 4 years since we last went to Europe & UK I can’t believe how time flies. Therefore, today I am dreaming of another holiday, escape to London. Located in a sought after region of London, at the southern tip of Covent Garden in London’s art, culture and design district, the ME London 5 star hotel surprises due to an original modern design. The contemporary accommodation unit was developed by Foster + Partners and features 157 guest rooms including 16 suites. The apartments located on the upper two levels come with access to spectacular terraces and extensive city views.

Things we Love: Lazy week
My first day of maternity leave I couldn’t be more thrilled as I’m very tired lately and any spare moment of laziness sounds blissful to me. Normally I’m always up to something, so this state of tiredness caused by the pregnancy falls hard on me – both mentally and physically. I’m having troubles accepting the fact that if I’m unable to run errands as I did before – it’s ok (and I should stop blaming myself for wanting to rest as much as possible). It’s a problem deep in my mind, so I have to work on that. I’m starting today, with this post of a lazy week ahead of doing nothing – just sleeping, going for long walks and eating yummy meals. Hope you have a good week!
Interview | Belgrade Streets Photography
I’m proud to present one of my blogger friends’ efforts here and invite you to see some awesome work by Belgrade Streets photography. I invited Andy to answer a few questions about his work that I have been following on his blog. I found it hard to pick my favorite photo on his blog so here is a couple I have chosen that I think sums up Belgrade Streets so well. A fresh, personal view of the city that is completely honest, and confounding to much of Serbia’s reputation. Great to see photographers, under their own motivation, creating their own work under their own voice, and finding ways to get it seen on their terms. I’m looking forward to seeing more from this photographer. Here is 10 @ 10 with Andy.
Architecture: House on Chilliwack Street
Randy Bens Architect developed the House on Chilliwack Street, Vancouver, Canada the new residence combines highly modern features with a touch of traditional, reminiscent of the old structure: “The existing house was too small for the family, so a new floor was added containing a master bedroom, en suite, office and deck. The new upper floor cantilevers in two directions, and compliments the lower (original) cantilevered portion of the house.”
The exterior of the building reveals a geometric combination of cubes and rectangles with clear stained cedar siding and contrasting blue stone. Once inside, a sense of openness takes over the entire space: “The house feels very spacious in relation to its actual size. There are three ceiling heights used throughout the project. Careful window placement allows walls to be washed with light and views to be controlled“. The living area is the core of the home and facilitates the transition between the indoors and the courtyard with swimming pool.
Travel Thursday | Holiday Villa | Palma de Mallorca
I am still in a holiday mode so this large holiday-inspiring dream home is breathtaking sea views. Located in Puerto de Andratx, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, the villa is a perfect romantic retreat and a good example of how nature can become one with every interior. Even though the most spectacular feature of the villa is its generously-sized, poolside terrace, as one steps inside, more design surprised are revealed.
the little things | keeping resolutions
New Year to me it’s an opportunity to wipe my slate clean and start over with fresh ideas and renewed ambitions. I love having a plan — even if the plan falls through. However, I don’t think I’ve ever sat down and made a legitimate list of New Year’s Resolutions until now. Nowadays, it seems like more and more people are cynical about starting the new year with a set of goals, but I think it’s important to reflect on your strengths, weaknesses, dreams, ambitions, and take every occasion (even a cliché one, like a new year) to become a better, happier, and more effective person.
With that said, I’ve listed a few of my typical and not-so-typical resolutions for 2013!
Redesign and update my design website. Stop talking & start creating. I started this blog to show more of my own work which I have not got to yet and I really should just start.
Take more photos. Expand my creativity and better document both the incredible and mundane moments of my life.

Stress less. Accept that some things are out of my control, manage my time better, and realize that unmet expectations aren’t the end of the world.
Treat myself more often. Indulge in something nice once in a while. Stop letting the Internet distract me. For real.
Explore more. Travel more.
One goal, and probably one I’ll have for years to come, is to be present in the little things. My projects, emails, iphone, deadlines, keep me busy and days fly by before I feel like I’ve come up for air—missing all the little moments in between. The past month hpretty good, but I’m already feeling the to-dos and busyness taking hold. So, my questions to you are…
Are you making headway on your New Year’s resolutions?—and—How do you ensure you are enjoying each day’s little things?
Enjoy the little things. Moments. Life.
