Lombard & Jack is the Melbourne-based interior design firm of Kath Lombard and Jackie Johnston that was established in only 2011. They’ve got some amazing projects under their belt already – each one with a dash of drama, a dab of glam, and a dollop of relaxed modernism. My favorite interiors of theirs has to be The Capitol Apartments, South Yarra which was done in collobration with company I work for Bates Smart.

Ok. here I go again with beautiful residential architecture by SAOTA – Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects & OKHA Interiors. Views that go on forever anchored by the raw textures of concrete, rock and timber. Dramatic volumes defining open plan living areas. Bespoke furniture and high end finishes. A pool terrace that taunts the view and a master bedroom suite that rivals any 5 star resort. Sensual and sensational, definitely a statement home. You’ll find me on the terrace indulging in the view and some sunshine.
Friday. Im in Love
Hey my beloved readers! It’s weekend again! Finally some quality time to reboot and recharge our inner battery. And since the days are getting colder and gloomier, I am planning on spending lots of time indoors, snuggling up in my bed with a good book, a sublime scented candle glowing, and serenity all around. Doesn’t that sound simply perfect? Have a great weekend!
a peek inside: ivanka trump home
Ivanka Trump seems to epitomize uptown elegance. So, we weren’t surprised to find that her Park Avenue apartment, which is featured in Elle Decor’s October issue, is pretty, cool and composed, just like its owner. I had to check out this issue after a friend told me about it so here it is.
She told the magazine: ‘I’m detailed to a fault. When we were moving into this apartment, and I was pregnant, I went a little nuts with the nesting instinct.
‘I want a home where kids can live happily and my husband can put his feet on the table or lie on the sofa watching TV and not be worried,’ she explains.
‘Nothing should be so precious that you can’t use it.’
Architecture | Ramat Hasharon House | Levy Chamizer Architects
This bright and breezy contemporary home by Levy:Chamizer Architects is located in Ramat Hasharon, on the central coast of Israel. This house is both sleek and refined, but the most impressive is the smoothness of the stucture of glass doors that brings lightness to the house.

Friday. Im in Love.
It has been exactly 4 years since we visited Paris, definetly my favorite city. So I decided to day dream and spend a day in Paris … love these beautiful rustic photographs and beautifully yummy bakery treats I enjoyed while I was there.

architecture: st. leon house by saota
St Leon 10 is another dream home designed by Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), a Cape Town-based architectural practice. Completed in 2006, this two-storey contemporary residence was designed for a family with two young children who wanted a house which simultaneously created spaces for casual intimate family occasions or large get-togethers. The contemporary South African property is organised in a linear manner with all rooms facing the sea. The rear of the property offers privacy with no openings other than the glazed double volume entrance space. This space is screened with a steel framed timber screen and access off the street is through heavy timber gates.
Things we love: new york + london double exposures
London and New York would be nice to visit again, so here I am dreaming about my holiday escape anywhere. . . London and New York City; two cities so fundamentally different and yet so amazingly similar. So what happens when two of the most photographed cities in the world come together as one? I am loving this new photographic project by Daniella Zalcman’s. Pretty cool, right? I think for now I will just enjoy these beautiful double exposure photos as my dream London or New York escape is off the cards for now.
