Today I was pondering what it would be like if I looked for a new, bigger house instead of an apartment. What would I pay attention to? What would be a ‘must’ in my future home and what a ‘nice to have’? My view wandered through my current home and got stuck while looking at my floor. A nice, a bit worn, laminate floor. And I knew immediately: An absolute and not negotiable prerequisite is a wooden floor. And just then I decided to dedicate today’s ‘things we love’ to wooden floors!
Seriously guys, is there a happier day than Friday? With the weekend ahead I am getting in a really happy mood. Whatever the plans – shopping, meeting friends, cinema, museum, blogging, or just relaxing and staying in – weekends inherit the power to boost and regenerate our energy and get us all ready for new adventures. Today, I am paying due attention to one of the most frequented rooms in homes, the living room. I start by carefully scrutinizing my own little living room: the dominating colours (brown and white), the textiles, the furniture, the art, the style, the decoration. And I notice I need a new ideas and accessories. But I digress. I thought it is a good idea to put together beautifully styled living rooms – with bold patterns, a gallery wall, colours, a monochromatic approach or a feature wall. What do you prefer?
