Building completion: 2009
Designed by established Singapore-based architecture firm Woha, the amazing, award winning, Alila Villas Uluwatu Resort, is located on the southern coastline of Balis Bukit Peninsula. Wooden relaxation pavilions are suspended over the water, giving the impression they are floating. Sustainability is present every in the resort, local materials were used, such as volcanic rocks and bamboo. To save water, pools were built of sea water. The project consists of 84 pool villas the ocean.
